Please include:

• The version of CueID you are using
• Your device (Mac, iPhone or iPad) and its macOS, iOS or iPadOS version
• The type of audio file you were scanning
• A short description of the issue
• Any error message shown in the app

Common Notes

CueID results depend on the quality of the audio and whether the track is available in the recognition catalog.

Some live edits, remixes, transitions, short clips, layered audio, and noisy recordings may not be recognized.

Apple Music playlist creation requires Apple Music permission and access to Apple Music in your region.

CueID scans MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC and AIFF files on every device, and WebM on Mac too. It downloads from podcast feeds and from Dropbox, Google Drive and direct links, but not from streaming services such as YouTube, SoundCloud or Mixcloud.

Your first scan is free. A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited scans on Mac, iPhone and iPad; there is no subscription. If you’ve bought it and CueID still asks you to, tap Restore at the bottom of the unlock screen.
